Bermuda Sunrise, Sunset

Quite possibly sunsets are one of, if not, the most oft photographed and cliches images. Sunrises, however, receive somewhat less attention, perhaps because many of us sleep through them. The first image of this series was taken early one morning in Bermuda while vacationing on one of the island’s beautiful pink/coral hued sandy beaches. Come lunch hour the clouds rolled in as they often do, the sun disappeared behind them and the sky turned the most ominous shade of grey just before the flash rainstorm began. By nightfall the beachfront was once again transformed by the now gusting wind blowing through those very same palms as the sun went down for the night.
